The Diary of Queen Mothy |
Amazing Writing written @ 3:00 PM on March 13, 2003 Last night, I had an argument with Christine... Well, it wasn't really an argument, more like a whine fest complete with cheese. You know how those go. *evil grin* In any case, the "argument-whine fest" spawned a huge creative output level in my head, and I was able to type ten pages, single-spaced, 12-sized font in less than two hours! It was pretty amazing, I guess you had to have been there. It was one of those rare moments where what I had to say in the plot suddenly came through clearly, the characters shined brilliantly, and I got it done fast and left off at a high point. This probably means I should argue with friends over mindless topics more often. Nothing like alienating yourself over your art, eh? Well... this probably wasn't an important topic to leave in my diary, but when I finished for the night yesterday, everything suddenly seemed right. What I did seemed right. It was one of those rare moments when it seemed like God really wanted me to go on with writing and that for one split second I had a real chance at creating something great. And speaking of great writing, Jessica, your entry was amazing.
