The Diary of Queen Mothy |
Daffodil written @ 6:51 PM on March 23, 2003 I spent all afternoon working on a tangled mess of wire I dare call a wire sculpture for my 3-D class. I swear that this thing has been one of the many banes of my existence, and as soon as I get a grade for it, be it an A or an F, I am going to vent all my frustrations and fury from the past couple weeks on this thing and DESTROY it. That's the magic about art: whether if you're creating or destroying it, it reflects inner emotions. Growl. Brian and I are getting together tonight to watch the Oscars... if I finish the rest of my work. We'll see. I have my money on "Chicago." The weather has been warm and beautiful. Tomorrow is supposed to be especially nice. I'm so sick of the cold. I love throwing the window to my room open and letting out the stale air... Well, I wish I could write more, but I have a lot of tasks to complete. I really hate being me sometimes; I wish I could slack and enjoy college like everyone else. Some of the girls went down to the Licking River today and brought me back a fresh daffodil. It's sitting in the jar Maria gave me for Christmas.
