The Diary of Queen Mothy |
White Christmas written @ 2:08 PM on December 25, 2002 My stalker is official history, I dare say. The night after I wrote my last entry was the last night I was escorted by the security guard out to my car after work. After that, suffice to say my rebellious, headstrong, foolish, fiercely independent side reared its ugly head and defied the commands of my parents. I am now a walking free woman of American society, and by God, if any creep so much as looks at me in a way I do not appreciate, then God have mercy on their souls and on mine once Heaven sees what I do to them. Enough said. I've been working a lot-- yes, a lot--lately because I have such expensive tastes. So expensive that I've sacrificed a couple breaks just to pull in the extra pennies. My body is having a tough time keeping up with me, but hey, life doesn't come cheap, no siree. I still like work even though the scene is beginning to get old. Christmas, today, has been most excellent. I got my Gryffindor scarf like I've desired since I read my beloved Harry Potter books, which I'm wearing right now, and I got the "Rent" sountrack, "The Return of the King," "Thoroughly Modern Millie" soundtrack, nice clothes, the "Fellowship of the Ring" Special Edition DVD, "The Lord of the Rings: Risk" board game (my dorm will freak over it, I know), a new coat, and-- get this-- a unicorn cookie jar! I am on Cloud Nine right now. Most of my relatives sent money, so tomorrow I'm cashing my checks, depositing half the moolah, and then compiling a rather large amazon.com purchase for my pleasure. Esmeralda, my car, has gotten a makeover with some new seatcovers. Been making some strides with my family tree. Actually, I've come across a crucial piece of evidence to proving that Frank Lapier Reno is my great-uncle, thereby proving my connections to the McCabe family of Pittsburgh, PA, and brother to my great-grandfather, David Francis Reno. (Note to self: see genealogy notes) Also been making headway on my grandfather's Christmas present-- yes, it's late. Basically, I've been fooling around and having some good old fashion fun this Christmas. Because my parents haves downright refused to see "The Two Towers" tonight, we're probably going to see "Gangs of New York" with DiCaprio and Diaz. Seems as though old Leo has been pulling in some quality work recently, but we'll see tonight. Merry Christmas, my lovelies!
