The Diary of Queen Mothy |
The Big HP, Project Overload, and a Battle for the Arts written @ 5:53 PM on November 23, 2002 I saw Harry Potter again for the third time. I can assure you that I am smiling from ear to ear and even thinking my thoughts in a British accent now. This time it was just Brian and me; Caylah didn't want to go. We both want a Gryffindor scarf for Christmas. Hopefully Mom will be able to find one on ebay. Last night I worked on my final projects for a few hours. Tonight I intend to do the very same thing, and then spend an hour or two on my books. Perhaps I'll finish my chapter on dragons tonight... much to the delight of Christine, I'm sure. I just have to get through at least a fraction of my work this evening-- get as much done as possible-- so that next week when the real procrastination begins, the suffering will not be as great. So now it's off to valiant battle with oil paints. I have not opened the windows or promoted ventilation in the dorm room in any way except through my purchase of ordorless paint thinner. That's my revenge against my roommate for smoking. I'd rather die of paint solvents than second hand. It's a much nobler death for an artist. Oh yeah. I locked myself out of my room this morning in my haste to go Harry Pottering. It was, like, nine this morning, and my poor R.A., God bless her, was not even awake. I felt so bad. "Hellooooo, I'm Sam Renoooo, I'm a bloooonde..."
