The Diary of Queen Mothy |
The Ol' 19th B-day written @ 3:24 PM on May 16, 2003 So here's an update on the Zach situation. I've added my commentary in (): Sam, I would be lying if I told you I was surprised by your E-mail (They always are, honey). It is very mature of you to realize that you are not ready for a relationship (LOL If you only knew...). I completely understand, it is so hard at this point in our lives (Not hard; I'm just one cookie who's resolved). Just starting out with an endless amount of paths before us, so many of them look like fun (Dating?! Fun?!). Somehow we are supposed plan it all out now (Got it). I personally just walk along and where ever life takes me that is where I am supposed to be (Good philosophy, but I don't share it personally). I have dreams and make goals but sometimes life happens, and then I just hang on for the ride (I'm one rollercoaster most people are still too short to ride). I think just going day by day is a wonderful idea (Please disappear!). I find you to be a very interesting person and would like to get to know you better, after all one can never have too many good friends. Speaking of making new friends, do you have Jamie's E-mail or phone number? She and I were talking about hanging out this summer but I just realized that I have no way to contact her. Thank you, talk to you later
Zachary *** He said, "Thank you." Why thank you? I don't know, kids, he sounds like he was at a complete loss for words. I think he's pissed. Or embarrassed. Or disappointed, if anything else. But, such is life, I am free from this, I think. I haven't replied yet; I'm still pondering what to say. Boy, it feels good to be honest! *** The 19th birthday was good. It was low-key, but I tend to like the low-key ones better anyway. I got this wicked fiber-optic unicorn and angel; only I wouldn't cease to be endlessly amused with it. I also received a bunch of new clothes, a CD rack, the "Miss Saigon" soundtrack, blank CD cases, a book on HTML programming (diaryland, watch out!), a gift certificate to Hobby Lobby, and a "Two Towers" poster. Most importantly, the relatives contributed money to Sam's Starving Artist Fund, a strictly non-profit organization initiated by your one and only. Speaking of getting money, the state of Ohio has decided to reward moi with $20 tax refund, and good ol' Uncle Sam decided to part with $62! That's the only thing Buch has done right so far, if you ask me. That is hard-won gas money right there. *** I figured out why I've been so agitated and snippy lately; one reason is owed to the fact that I still need to secure that second job, and the other reason I give credit to is that lunar eclipse last night. The elements were off balance for dear Sam here, which is odd, but now that the eclipse was over, karma, mojo, and all other forms of equilibrium have been restored to the inner being. *** I'm driving up to OSU in approximately three hours to visit Christine, the Syberian Shaman. *lol* In tow will be Jessica and Ashley; thank God I'm the one driving this time. We're going to take it easy, listen to some Evanescence and Linkin Park, throw some gossip around, and be in Columbus before you know it-- budda-bing, budda-boom. *** Hey, hey, I hear the Cincinnati Art Museum is getting a bit of a facelift. It almost frightens me that the city is ACTUALLY ATTEMPTING to try something new! Of course, they still have it geared for the rich patrons from the East end, but baby steps, eh? *** Well, I'm off to amuse myself and begin packing for the weekend. I'm sure I will have a story or two to tell later. Until then, puppy chow.
