Suburbia Soft written @ 12:06 PM on September 21, 2002 Oh, what blissful news... The paper gave Heath Ledger's new movie four stars, as opposed to Yahoo's! pathetic 2.5 stars! This makes me so happy. My hair is doing funny things. Ever since I've come home, it's suddenly... manageable. We have hard water at NKU, you see. Nobody drinks the stuff because it's awful. Nobody's hair is working for them. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if the water I'm taking a shower with in the dorms is Ohio River water sent through an old filter. Now, upon coming home... ahhh, suburbia soft! And my hair is happy. This is just a quick blurb. Will update more later. Keep ya posted. HOLY MOTHER OF GOD, IT'S THE APOCALYPSE! RENO GOT HER DRIVER'S LICENSE!!! Okay, well, technically I did. You see, by the time I finished my road test, the place that takes your picture for the little card-license-thingie was closed, soooo I have to go back next week or sometime when I don't have classes to be 'certified.' So, yeah, applaude my efforts. Tank you-tank you. Add another menace to society on the road, yes, indeed. However, I will not be able to drive my fucking car until next week sometime because mother's antique van is busted, as mentioned a couple of days ago. So in the meantime she needs MY car to get to work until Dad gets the new SUV he's be scoaping out. Don't ask why he wants an SUV. Grrrr. Oh, I do know how to share, but I'm just so irritated by the situation. But *sigh* I will be patient. Quote of the Day: "It's got one foot in the grave and the other foot on a banana peel." My mother, upon explaining to me for the umpteenth time why she's getting rid of the van and supporting my father in his endeavors for buying a shit-colored car (thankfully, he ended up not buying the shit-colored car but a nice silver one. Good man. Quiz of the Day: Which Pirate are You? Did you know that September 19 was "Speak Like a Pirate Day?" I am Calico Ethel Flint: "Often indecisive, you can't even choose a favorite color. You're apt to follow wherever the wind blows you, just like Calico Jack Rackham, your namesake. Like the rock flint, you're hard and sharp. But, also like flint, you're easily chipped, and sparky. Arr!" Take the quiz at: http://www.fidius.org/quiz/pirate.php
