The Diary of Queen Mothy |
Completely Indifferent written @ 9:54 PM on November 11, 2002 OK, girls (meaning Christine and Jessica), here's what I propose: I am fucking seeing Harry Potter on Friday. BUT... I will see it a SECOND time with you on Saturday at 9ish? Eh? Eh? And I promise I won't give anything away... although I may get a little excited. Twil be a WONDErFUL day!! So what do you think? Quote of the Day: "Do you LOVE me, Sam? Do you love me? Do you LOVE me, Sam? Do you love me? Now... that I... can dance... dance... dance... Watch me now!" Beau, from stagecraft Sam's answer: "Fuck no." I had a really profound thought dealing with art and fame and fear of failure, but it's temporarily skipped out of my head, so I cannot regal you all with it tonight. Darn. I began a Harry Potter Survey of the Day on the dry erase board out in the hall. Yesterday evening's question was "Who is YOUR favorite professor?" I voted for Snape because Alan Rickman kicks ass, one person voted for McGonagall, one for Madame Hooch ("because I want her eyes!!!"), and four for Professor Lupin. So Lupin's the winner! This evening's question was "I Dream of Weasley." It will be interesting to see who the floor votes for: Arthur, Molly, Bill, Charlie, Percy, Fred and George, Ron, or Ginny. Tomorrow's question is probably going to be "What House Will You More Than Likely be Sorted Into?" But then again it could be "Name Your Favorite Gryffindor Quidditch Player." "Name Your Favorite Slytherin" would get them thinking too. Hmmm... "Most Annoying House Elf." "Death Eater You Would Like to See Bite the Dust First." "Favorite Method of Destroying Voldemort." "The Coolest Pet: Scabbers, Hedwig, Errol, Crookshanks, etc." "Favorite Ron Quote." "Favorite Hogwarts Ghost." Think of the possibilities! We could start gambling too. "The person who comes closest to pin pointing the publishing release date of Harry Potter 5 will get X amount of moolah." I was becoming rather annoyed with my roommate-- just because-- but then she popped in Harry Potter into the VCR, and that restored my faith in her. I hope she enjoyed it. I had to go to class. I watched it last night with Brian and Derek as well. It was fun. We completely ignored the tornado sirens that were blasting across the campus; we would have died happily as long as the big HP was the last thing we saw. Other than that, today was so-so. I place no purpose or meaning in this week; I just want to get through it. I could use another vacation. Thanksgiving in about two weeks, like. I'm probably going to buy my books for second semester some time this week; my schedule is loaded. **sigh** *sigh* Sigh again. I want to work, and then I don't want to work. I want to create great art, but then I couldn't give a damn; I'm probably not going to get anywhere with it anyway. I want to sleep; I want to get out and enjoy the fresh air. I want to go home; I want to stay as far away from it as long as I can. I want to travel abroad; I think it's better to stay on this campus. I want to study history; why bother with the misery? I want to end this entry; I want to keep talking about things as if it will straighten out my priorities to talk about it through words. *sigh* *sigh*
